After years of living honestly and putting myself in front of countless real estate wannabees, thieves and flat out liars I am redeemed.
Okay, here's the skinny. My show, my podcast show, the one I did years ago even before anybody knew what I was talking about, (a lot of them STILL don't know what I am talking about) has been picked up by ZUNE.
I don't know if these guys are hurting for attention, or what.... But my entire show has been picked up and placed on their network. Now keep in mind we have not done an episode in MONTHS.. or maybe years.... Im not kidding. I have not done a show in a long LONG time. So this came as quite a surprise to me.

SEO is No Mystery - Just Build Better Stuff !!
I'm almost through picking out the last of the sharp arrows out of my back. A lot of you guys out there are disgruntled and upset that there isn't one pill or magic powder that can elevate your search engine rankings.
(poor little sausages...)
The truth is there is no one way to do it. There is no wrong way to do it. There is no RIGHT way to do it. There is always some mumbling about using keywords. But more importantly you have to know this one thing....
There is a number formula for getting your pages to pop up properly. Without that number it is going to be difficult to get any kind of results.
I tell people all the time. Just build better content. But more importantly you should write it for an actual human being. There is something to be said about writing your content to please the search engine bots. But these can be troublesome to read and can actually inspire brain damage if done poorly.
Ahem..... enough jibber jabber....

Its 2010 - and Ted Cantu Still Doesn't Have a Job - THANKS DETROIT !!!
A lot of guys would be P.O'd to be out of work this long. Lets face it folks, as far as work goes, I am a long lost memory. Added to the fact that there are NO JOBS IN MICHIGAN -- but I am actually pretty grateful.
In the grand scheme of things - I have actually profited from this. I predict in the next 10 years I will still be unemployed -- in fact I am counting on it. There are a number of top hitting companies on my resume that scare off potential bosses. You got the Big Six firms on there like EY, Arthur Andersen, and then Capital Records and WWF. This has got to send an HR person screaming at the top of their lungs.
They cannot afford me.
Detroit hasn't really been there for me once I crossed the line into super stardom. The companies are still kicking around low digits so I couldn't commit. The last advice a radio station gave me was that I was only worth a couple of grand a year.... I think it was around 15k total. He also advised that I should take the job.
But I had to agree to.. DISAGREE.
MOTOR CITY LIVING HAS TOUGHENED ME UP
I know when I wake up tomorrow the phone will be dead. My agents have long left me and there are no fires to put out in corporate america at the 6 figure level. But that doesn't meant that I am out of action. You see - by 9 am tomorrow morning I am going to be generating some serious numbers.... from my modest office.
I can do this because I am wired to the gills online. I got so many potential business leads out there that it is a little scary. I got press releases, people on command and on speed dial that will not only bring me money when I need it but also connect me to bigger deals when I need it.
I can thank the Internet for that.
And my dear friends, I am only beginning.

Since When Does Cheap Price = Good SEO ?
This was a rather strange week -- even for me, ( a person who prides himself on getting into some over the top strange situations).
I've come to a rather stark conclusion about online marketing and that is..... Some companies should NOT have web sites. I know that may be a little harsh for some of you but its true. There are many contributing factors to making a web site campaign take off half way decent. There are many tools that you should be aware of when putting a site together.
SUCCESS DOES NOT COME EASY
Most importantly you should take care of the necessary costs.... hint.... directories... when putting your site together. Having a site on the Internet does not automatically mean you will get cash paying customers.....
It does not mean that you will get people buying everything you are selling. It does not guarantee that you will get a fair share of fans. It doesn't even mean you will get indexed or listed in the search engines.
Yahoo was charging a fee of $49 dollars per page just to get indexed. Now this does not mean that you will get listed. This means that you may have a chance of getting included into the search engines. You will appear somewhere in the bottom of the searches. This fee does not include TOP RANKINGS.
Incidently it also doesn't mean you will get A TON OF TRAFFIC. That is something that will happen if you are plugged into the top web directories which are DIFFERENT than search engines. You will have to be in enough niche market directories to make some sort of impact.
* Just because you have a web site does not entitle you to popularity or profits.....
